{"id":637,"date":"2024-09-06T11:18:21","date_gmt":"2024-09-06T09:18:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/equhip-avocat.com\/en\/?post_type=fiches&#038;p=637"},"modified":"2024-09-06T11:18:21","modified_gmt":"2024-09-06T09:18:21","slug":"doping-and-the-establishment-of-proof-shared-responsability-between-owner-and-trainer","status":"publish","type":"fiches","link":"https:\/\/www.equhip-avocat.com\/en\/fiches\/doping-and-the-establishment-of-proof-shared-responsability-between-owner-and-trainer\/","title":{"rendered":"Doping and the establishment of proof : shared responsability between owner and trainer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The FEI tribunal rendered decisions during August 2024 concerning two <strong>doping affairs.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This decision of 30 August relates to a horse who called FAROON which was tested and found positive for a <strong>forbidden substance<\/strong> during endurance competition.<\/p>\n<p>The horse FAROON was ridden by rider Mr. Jalam Singh Inder SINGH whose trainer is Mr. Alhareth Mohamed Jaafar ABDULRAHIM.<\/p>\n<p>During the endurance race, the Horse FAROON was tested positively for Strychnine. Strychnine is an illegal substance and consequently it\u2019s banned for all competitions. As a reminder, Strychnine is a drug which causes involuntary muscles contractions.
